Islamic theology is a branch of Islamic studies regarding the beliefs associated with the Islamic faith.

Types of theology

Muslim theology is the theology that derived from the Qur'an, Hadith, and Muhammad's (SAW) life. The contents of Muslim theology can be divided into theology proper such as theodicy, eschatology, anthropology, apophatic theology, and comparative religion.

Kalam

Kalam is the Islamic philosophy of seeking theological principles through dialectic. In Arabic, the word literally means "speech". A scholar of kalam is referred to as a mutakallim (Muslim theologian; plural mutakallimiin).

A. Why they decided on their own brand instead of just becoming Jewish. I mean it is the same God with the same basic rules so why write a new operating manual. Same thing for the Christians. (except for the point that Christians will eat anything.)

A. That's according to what version of Islam you practice. True Islam is all about submitting to God and spreading peace and love throughout the world; this is of course logical; but there are other versions that can can make you puke and turn the whole world into insanity. Beware of illogical Muslims.
