Is there a way to set the display to show topics, not individual messages? thanks! Q. ... and why do they think that only American soldiers fight in Iraq? They are so absorbed by thetopic of war in Iraq taht they seem to treat topics like bird flu (or wars in Africa) or EU affairs as petty? I am not trying to insult anyone here. I am just aksing a question. the question is not skewed. id rather call it as 'objective'. yes i do watch news and i know pretty well what Americans care about and talk about mostly (when it comes ot politics for the sake of argument) and that is war in Iraq (which could be as well called by the Americans the 'american' war, becuse as far as I have noticed, Americans consider this war as if it was only their war. Our media saturates us with constant negative images and news from Iraq. When they finally stop deluging us, the public will stop caring about it. However, many also have loved ones over there (150,000 soldiers means 150,000 families and countless relatives worried about them). Our media does not really cover the bird flue, or Africa, or EU because they don't think Americans are interested in those topics. Our media only cares about what they can cover in 30 seconds or less that will get them amazing ratings.
