From Google News Search: "Theology" If correct theology & beliefs are unimportant, why do Christians congregate in separate denominations? Q. Answers to my earlier question about correct belief & theology say that theology & beliefs are unimportant. (See my profile to view the question & its answers.) Yet theology & beliefs seem to cause separation between Christians. If theology and beliefs are not important, why do they cause Christians to worship & pray separate from other Christians? Asked by NH Baritone - Sun Feb 1 19:38:04 2009 - - 6 Answers - 1 Comments A. The fact that they worship separately does not disturb me as much as the fact that many of them use such hateful and vitriolic language when speaking of other Christians and then act shocked when non-Christians don't want to join their "club". If you really sit back and think about it all and how it originated by Charles Taze Russell off of spiritism, you can truly feel sorry for these people because they didn't do their homework first just like I didn't before getting baptized (I am out now), to find out exactly how the religion got started; how ludacris it all really is. They only know what others including some elders who don't even know the truth, have told them and how they've been programmed to think. Q. The word theology is defined as "The study of the nature of God and religious truth; rational inquiry into religious questions." Once again, this question is primarily directed to Christians, but I welcome all to answer as well. Asked by Elder Greg SFECU pray4revival - Thu Sep 25 11:13:47 2008 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments A. God is God. No words can describe Him; how can they when man invented words?! Nothing we can ever imagine will even come close. He is Benevolent; He is Onmipotent; He is Omnipresent; He is most Holy; He is just; He is our Creator; He is my Lord and Father; He is everything, and I love Him with all my soul.
