Q. Many Christians state that homosexuality is a choice and that homosexuals can change. I believe that homosexuals are born that way and that God made them homosexuals for a purpose unknown to us at this time. They cherry-pick certain bible passages and develop what they think was God's "plan", and sometimes their categories keep them from noticing or considering any other viewpoint. What you are saying is of course correct. How could they possibly know that? But they developed a scheme of understanding whereby God created *everyone* to mate with someone of the opposite sex and have children because that is God's one and only possible "plan", and therefore your understanding must be wrong, lol.
